Ski Report - sourthern Herkimer county - Sunday,  1/7/2008

Red wax today. Temp. about 5C.

     Got good kick with the red, but it slowed me down downhill.
Snow was consolidated enough that breaking trail 
was as easy as following in a track. Snow is thin in some places but
that's easy to avoid. Snow was so heavy there was no control
going downhill, but, not to worry, no speed either.
I did not go looking for a hill steep enough to kill me.
Live to ski, not ski to die.
