Good Afternoon Skiers,
Skishark woke up
this morning, looked out the window, thought,
Hmmm, might finally be enough to ski
on.
He went out, put a
little green wax on for kick, and started to ski.
About four or five inches of snow, very
light and fluffy stuff, packed right down.
Anyone know of a good grass
wax?
Did four laps around his
quarter mile loop, just to get his ski legs on y'know.
Downhill kept getting faster, glide on
uphill not too bad.
Irregularities of the ground made him
nervous about ant more challanging downhills.
And there are still sticks not under the
snow in the woods.
Went out with
Monte after lunch to do the aisle of pines route.
Checked it out this summer, not many pines
there.
Over 90% white spruce, so I'll have to call
that route the picean pathway.
Warming up now, snow is getting quite
sticky. By the time I got back
each ski weighed over ten pounds. Now I'll
have to scrape off the mud.
Happy trails,
